Education

A place to learn, but also a place to have fun and have great opportunities

Technology, Tutors, Support

We know the 2020-2021 school year has been  like no other. We want to provide a safe resource center that will help the adults and youth in this neighborhood do the best they can to be successful.  We are providing many different workshops from cooking classes, arts and crafts, computer literacy, and so much more. Our programs will provide a place to use technology, partner with tutors/mentors, assist with resources, and be a safe place for youth to feel the support from our volunteers.

We realize in order to help the family dynamic to thrive and be successful as a unit, there needs to be a foundation for growth. Our families not only need a place to learn and grow, but also a place to have fun and experience greater opportunities. Within our program, we hope to provide time and space to play games, read books, attend kid-centered workshops, and take part in community outings.

It Takes a Village, a nonprofit 5013c organization, feels that through the child we will develop stronger relationships with families and the greater community.
